SmackBook ("we", "us", or "our") is a product of Purple Banana Labs. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. We built SmackBook to be simple and privacy-respecting — we collect only what we absolutely need.

SmackBook collects minimal information:

• Purchase data: When you purchase the app or unlock sound packs, payment is processed by our payment provider (Gumroad). We do not store your credit card or payment details.
• License key: A license key is generated upon purchase to verify your unlock status. This is stored locally on your device.
• Contact form: If you contact us via the form on our website, we collect your name, email address, and message content.
• Crash/diagnostic data: The app does not automatically collect crash reports or send any telemetry data to our servers.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not track your slaps, usage patterns, or how often you use the app.
• We do not collect your location, device identifiers, or any biometric data.
• We do not use third-party analytics SDKs inside the app.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers.

3. How We Use Your Information

Any information we collect is used solely to:

• Process and verify your purchase
• Respond to support or contact form inquiries
• Send important updates about the app (only if you opt in)

4. Data Storage

Contact form messages are stored securely and used only to respond to your inquiry. We use GitHub (private repository) for message storage. Your data is never shared with third parties except as required by law.

5. Cookies

Our website (smackbook.app) does not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. We may use essential cookies for basic site functionality only.

6. Third-Party Services

• Gumroad — payment processing. Subject to Gumroad's Privacy Policy.
• Vercel — website hosting. Subject to Vercel's Privacy Policy.

SmackBook is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
